A Million Miles Away tells the true story of José Hernandez and his journey of being a migrant farm worker to becoming one of the first Latino astronauts. Our marketing campaign was rooted in celebrating José’s Mexican heritage and leaning into cultural authenticity of the film to connect with audiences. We drove social conversation by partnering with José’s real-life daughter Vanessa to share about the film and her family’s connection to it gaining 10MM+ organic views.
